BSc (Hons) Osteopathy APNT, BCMA (Reg)
Alison is a registered Osteopath who graduated from the College of Osteopaths, London, with a first BSc Honours in Osteopathy. This is a five year course that included anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics & clinical methods. In addition, she completed a further elective to undertake cranial osteopathy. Alison is a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council. Alison is covered by PPP, AXA, Aviva and Prudential Insurance.
Prior to qualifying as an Osteopath Alison worked for several years as a Sports and Remedial Therapist and has a wide experience of treating sports people. Alison works closely with patients in explaining the cause of their problems and advises on stretching and strengthening exercises, posture and ergonomics and relaxation techniques in order to help prevent further problems occurring.

Sports - gym, swimming, badminton
Last time I was really scared - Dragon's Fury ride at Chessington. I was almost crying when it finished which was particularly embarrassing as lots of 5 year olds on it who had a great time
Strengths - communication, patience
Weaknesses - always take on too much, untidy
Most impressive location I've visited - Venice - exactly as you see it in the movies
Final meal - thai red curry
Greatest self accomplishment - doing my Degree later in my life and getting a First
2 people I have round a dinner table - George Clooney, Peter Kay
Desert island disc - which album? - can't possibly choose one so would have to be a compilation of everything I like
Animal I think best reflects me - have had several suggestions from my family, not all flattering, but the overall consensus is a cat!
